CKCSC, USA Championship Point System
Primary Objective
To enable and encourage breeders/owners to evaluate the product of their breeding program in widespread competition under competent, knowledgeable judges.
Secondary Objective
To encourage the sponsoring of Regional Shows under CKCSC, USA regulations.
System
At CKCSC, USA or CKCSC Regional Club sponsored shows held under CKCSC Rules, Points will be awarded as follows:
Best in Show (BIS)
One more point than the highest number of points available to either sex based on the MAJOR POINTS from the scale of points below.Reserve Best In Show (RBIS)
One point less than BEST IN SHOWWinners Dog (WD) and Winners Bitch (WB)
Highest number of points available in sex based on the Major points from the scale of points below.Reserve Winners Dog (RWD) and Bitch (RWB)
One point less than Winners Dog or Winners Bitch.Best Puppy in Show
Highest number of points available from the Junior and Senior Puppy Classes based on the Class points from the scale below. (If the entry justifies and points are awarded in any of the puppy classes, Best Puppy would be awarded the 1 or 2 class points even if the class had less than four (4) entries.) One (1) extra point is awarded for winning Best Puppy.At any given show, the dogs chosen BEST IN SHOW and RESERVE BEST IN SHOW will retain only the points conferred for that win.

Dogs winning Major Points will not retain Class Points in that show.
No Cavalier may receive class points from more than one win at any show.
